I waisted so much time giving second, third, and forth chances for him to “come clean” and “get it right”. Only to finally realize the he will never be honest with me if be can’t be honest with himself. He’s a child in a man’s body and what do kids do when they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar? They make up stories and lie. “It wasn’t me?” “My brother made me do it.” “I wasn’t going to eat it, I was just looking at it”.
